1940 10C MS68 Full Bands PCGS. CAC. The issue of 65.35 million pieces from 1940 is plentiful in Full Bands through MS67, a testament to the quality of the issue. As expected for the grade, this Full Bands Superb Gem displays razor-sharp devices with virtually no imperfections. The luminous surfaces on hues of amber-gold, lavender and emerald-green accentuate a stunning crescent rainbow on the reverse periphery. PCGS reports no numerically finer Full Bands examples, only a dozen Plus-graded pieces (11/25).
