Description

1942/1 10C AU55 NGC. FS-010.7. Plain as the overdate is, it is little wonder that this well-known Mercury dime variety was discovered in 1943, just one year after its manufacture. This briefly circulated, well struck piece shows hints of blue and gold toning, as well as a rim bruise at 12 o'clock on the obverse.(Registry values: N991)
