Description
Uncirculated 1942/1 Mercury Dime
1942/1 10C MS60 PCGS. FS-101, formerly FS-010.8. Russet-brown freckles congregate throughout the margins of this satiny key date dime. No highpoint wear is apparent, and abrasions are surprisingly insignificant. As always, the overdate is unmistakable. Perhaps the best Philadelphia Mint employees went off to war, and left an inexperienced team behind to produce this famous mint error.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 5036, GSID# 4607)
