Full Bands MS64 1945 Dime
A Famous Strike Rarity

1945 10C MS64 Full Bands PCGS. The 1945 Full Bands dime is the most famous "strike rarity" in American numismatics. Uncirculated 1945 dimes are sufficiently common that they are sometimes available by the roll. But invariably, these pieces are softly defined on the all-important central bands. The present piece is a fortunate exception to the rule. Not only are the bands fully split, but the peripheral legends are crisp at the tops of the letters. In addition, the lightly toned and lustrous surfaces are clean for the MS64 level. Encapsulated in a first generation PCGS holder.(Registry values: N1793)
