tucked close to the branch stem. Luster remains in the fields, and
the devices show only light high-point wear. Were this piece
Uncirculated, a Full Bands designation might have been achieved, as
the fasces is well-struck. The 1916-D Mercury dime is the key date
in the series, and it is one of the most sought-after regular 20th
century issues across all denominations. With a mintage of only
264,000 pieces, collector-grade pieces such as this AU coin are
