1926-S 10C AU58 Full Bands NGC. One of the most difficult coins in the series with fully split bands, the '26-S is also an issue that is under constant pressure from collectors because of its low mintage of only 1.52 million pieces. This near-Mint example is essentially untoned, and exhibits a few superficial luster grazes in the field areas, along with die clash marks (as struck) and a few wispy striations (as made). The luster is somewhat muted, but overall this is a pleasing AU example of this difficult date.(#4959) (Registry values: N991) (NGC ID# 5LX7, PCGS# 4959)
