Nearly Perfect Surfaces

1934 10C MS68+ Full Bands PCGS. Few series are collectible in grades higher than MS65, but Mercury dimes are generally available in superior condition, at least the issues from the 1930s and 1940s. This piece is essentially perfect. The surfaces display glowing mint luster and each side is unaffected by post-striking defects. The obverse is brilliant while the reverse shows just a hint of light golden patina. Population: 36 in 68 (3 in 68+) Full Bands, 0 finer (10/19).(Registry values: N1793)
