Description

Augustin I Iturbide gold Medal 1821, Grove 5 but unlisted in gold, Proclamation medal dated 10-27-1821. 17.56 grams. Obverse: Crowned eagle with snake, design by J. Guerrero; Reverse: Legends. Sharply struck XF, some original mint luster, very minor planchet flaws. Extremely rare type in gold.
