Charles III 8 Reales 1778 Mo-FM VF35 NGC, Mexico City mint,
KM106.2 (Rare), Cal-1116. Listed as "rare" in Krause, this date
often eludes collectors looking to complete the run of Charles III
8 Reales. The deep charcoal tone belies the fact that the integrity
of the devices remains intact, with moderate circulation wear to
the high points and some strike weakness in the usual areas. Only
two finer examples are known across both major grading services.Metal: Silver
