Description

Estados Unidos gold 50 Pesos 1931 MS66 PCGS, Mexico City mint, KM481, Fr-172. There was a major gap in production after this 1931 dated issue was struck, extending until 1943; the first run of dates from 1921 to 1931 are significantly more difficult to procure in Gem assignments and above. This particular date has seen only six total examples certified at the MS66 level (three at each major service), of course the present selection included in that number. Specialists of this gold heavy series will certainly appreciate the conditional scarcity of this impressive offering.
