Philip V 8 Reales 1745 Mo-MF MS64 PCGS, Mexico City mint, KM103, Cal-1468. Ultra silky and very nearly the definition of "frosty," this sharply produced example of an iconic type should draw immediate attention from collectors of the Mexican and Spanish colonial series. Tied for the second-finest certified to date across over 80 examples seen by the grading services, and exceeded by only a single "65" in the combined censuses.
