Philip V gold Cob 4 Escudos 1714 Mo-J MS63 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM55.2, Cal-2029. 13.5 gm. Salvaged in 1982 from the "Corrigans" site from the 1715 Plate Fleet (Sunk off Florida's Treasure Coast). A prime selection from this popular provenance, with a narrow-down location and date of recovery. Boasting great legends and a full date, this doubloon boasts an impressive shield and subtle shimmer.
