Description

Philip V gold Escudo 1734/3 Mo-MF AU58 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM113, Cal-516. Borderline Mint State with very slight high-point friction evidence and strong underlying luster. A small scratch on the bust is well hidden and only apparent under close scrutiny. Currently the highest certified example of this scarce early date by NGC, finer than the Eliasberg coin and among the very finest extant. Rare and desirable in this attractive quality.
