Description

Philip V gold Escudo 1735 Mo-MF MS61 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM113, Cal-518. Brilliant Mint State with lustrous surfaces and a few scattered contact marks precluding a finer designation. A rare date, missing in Norweb, Gerber and Eliasberg, seldom seen in any grade. The finer of only two pieces currently listed in NGC's census, very likely the finest extant. Hugely desirable for type in this rare quality.
