Philip V gold Escudo 1735 Mo-MF MS61 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM113, Cal-518. Brilliant Mint State with lustrous surfaces and a few scattered contact marks precluding a finer designation. A rare date, missing in Norweb, Gerber and Eliasberg, seldom seen in any grade. The finer of only two pieces currently listed in NGC's census, very likely the finest extant.
