Republic 8 Reales 1866 Ca-JG XF Details (Rim Repair - Filed) NGC, Chihuahua mint, KM377.2, DP-Ca42 ("Extremely rare"). Sharply detailed and well preserved with scant high point wear, partial underlying luster and moderate tooling on the edge above "MEXICANA" defining the designation. A quite collectible example of this very rare date/assayer combination, seldom available in any grade with even more offerings of the rarer - as acknowledged by all experts - 1866 Ca-FP date noted in recent years by the cataloguer.From the FoxLair Collection
