Republic Peso 1870 Ga-C AU55 NGC, Guadalajara mint, KM408.3.
One of just four examples available at NGC for this first year of
Peso coinage from the Guadalajara mint. The cabinet patina has yet
to fully envelop the silhouettes, leaving original argent to break
through the lavender-charcoal surfaces, an impressive effect in
hand. Tied with one other example at NGC for their top pop, with a
single specimen ranked higher at PCGS.Metal: Silver
