Description

Seven Small Gold Nuggets. A fine variety of gold nuggets of various forms including: one elongated, flattened specimen; one rounded pebble specimen, rubbed almost entirely smooth by alluvial action;one three-dimensional crystalline specimen after quartz, of delicate filigree form with a section of reddish-quartz at the center; another with traces of opaque white quartz; one with attractively contrasting traces of rust-red iron-stone; and two others. Displaying a variety of good yellow shades, the largest measures approximately 1-1/8 x 1-1/8 x ½ inches; the smallest approximately 7/8 x 7/8 x 5/8 inches; and the total weight of all seven is 5.425 Troy oz (168.7g).
