Republic 8 Reales 1897 Zs-FZ MS66 NGC, Zacatecas mint, KM377.13, DP-Zs83. Here we have an offering that Cap & Rays collectors seek out with passion; certified 8 Reales with grades beyond Gem. The surfaces are remarkably bereft of chatter and the patina is a pleasing mottled mixture of sepia and champagne tones. No PCGS representatives of this date and mint combo have reached a 66 and only three others at NGC besides this one have achieved the feat.
