Description

Philip V 2 Reales 1736/4 Mo-MF MS63 PCGS, Mexico City mint, KM84. An amazing representative of this scarce overdate, the first of the issue we have seen thus far and the sole Mint State example of four pieces graded by either PCGS or NGC. Exhibiting a deep, wholesome gunmetal tone throughout that speaks to the utmost originality of the surfaces, silhouetted against a faint backdrop of silvery gray-gold with hints of blue steel around the peripheries. An impressive piece with an illustrious pedigree.
