(2) Uncertified 1948 Double Mint Sets. The outer mailing envelopes are included. One is postmarked Mar. 22, 1949, to Philadelphia, PA. The other outer envelope is postmarked Jan. 27, 1949 to Brooklyn, N.Y. Most coins are lightly to moderately toned in attractive golden-brown to russet shades. The coins grade between MS61 and MS64. No 1948-S halves were issued. One set is missing both 1948-S quarters.Auction Info
