Six Unopened 1956 Mint Sets. Each set is unopened, in its original envelope and outer mailing envelope, postmarked between February 1 and April 11, 1957. These are double Mint Sets as issued, each containing 18 coins as half dollars were only minted at Philadelphia in 1956. Each set was sent insured mail from Washington, D.C. to addresses in Connecticut (4), Kentucky, and Oregon, each retaining its canceled 20 cent stamp.Auction Info
