Uncertified 1948 Double Mint Set. This 1948 PDS double mint set remains housed in the original cardboard holders, with the manila mailing envelope that is postmarked January 7, 1949. All of the coins are lightly to moderately toned, and the typical example grades MS64 to MS65. This set contains 28 coins as no 1948-S half dollars were minted.Auction Info
