This lot includes various tokens and related items: 1837 Not One Cent hard times token, Fine; 1863 DIX Civil War token, VF; Undated "Token of Esteem," Fine, corroded; 1868 Horatio Seymour presidential campaign medal, XF; 1893 Columbian Exposition Treasury Building so-called dollar, XF; and a Sibley, Lindsay & Curr $10 trade token, probably silver-plate, AU.
Sibley, Lindsay, and Curr, founded in 1868, was Rochester, New York's oldest and largest department store before becoming part of Associated Dry Goods Corporation in 1957.
