Description
1925 Counterstamped Stone Mountain MS 63. A remarkable counterstamped coin that is preserved in mint condition. The counterstamp itself is 286 VA, and is unlisted in the Wilde article "Where Are They Today?" from a February, 1978 article in The Numismatist. Originally toned and fully lustrous. Because of its condition, this coin should bring multiples of the usual XF counterstamp encountered.
Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 9489)
