Description

1888-S Ten Made Into a "Spy Coin"

Jewelry Coins. The first is a so-called "spy coin." An 1888-S eagle, this is a really cool item that has a small bead on the border, and when it is moved to the right a golden disc slides out from the interior of the piece. Perhaps a small photograph could be placed on the disc similar to European "box talers." The second piece is less glamorous--a 1910 half eagle with a bezel permanently affixed to the rim. A mount and oval loop are soldered to the top of the bezel for suspension.
