with many issues in American numismatics, the second-year
half-ounce Gold Eagle was saved to a lesser extent in high grades
than its first-year counterpart. All MS70 representatives are rare.
This luminous lemon-gold example has swirling luster and lacks even
the tiniest speck. There are 32 top-graded pieces at PCGS
