Low PCGS Population
1990 $1 Silver Eagle MS70 PCGS. While large quantities of
silver eagles were submitted to NGC through an arrangement with a
major dealer, few coins found their way to PCGS. As a result, the
population figures are widely divergent. For example, NGC has
certified 323 of these 1990 Silver Eagles as MS70, while PCGS has
only graded 41 examples in MS70 (10/19). The present piece is one
of those 41, a perfect example with a bold strike, satiny luster,
