    1990 $1 Silver Eagle MS70 NGC. According to John Mercanti's American Silver Eagles, the average price of silver in 1990 was $4.82, a price that fell off even further the following year. In 1990, the Philadelphia Mint struck more than 5.8 million Silver Eagles, but few examples survive certified in MS70. This NGC coin displays a full strike and untoned satin luster.
