Description

1984-S Olympic Dollar, MS70
One of Six at PCGS

1984-S $1 Olympic Silver Dollar MS70 PCGS. The design by Robert Graham depicts his headless sculpture that he designed for the entrance to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and it was/is not without its detractors. The reverse, also by Graham, is among the more attractive recent eagle designs on commemorative coinage, in our opinion. This piece is absolutely mark-free and quite beautiful, beginning to acquire a subtle golden-olive cast. Population: 6 in 70 (3/13).(Registry values: N991)
