1989-D Congress Bicentennial Half, MS70
Few Graded So Fine
1989-D 50C Congress Half Dollar MS70 PCGS. Not a great
number of these Congressional Bicentennial dual-dated 1789-1989
clad half dollars were sold in relation to the proofs of the same
design -- about one-fifth as many -- making it a contrarian play.
PCGS reports only 16 in this ultimate grade (1/16). This piece is
largely untoned save for a small rose blush. The modern
commemorative coin issues are both artistic enjoyment and history
