1995-96 Olympic Silver Dollar Reverse Die
1995-1996 $1 Olympic Silver Dollar Reverse Die. A canceled reverse die used for the 1995-1996 Olympic silver dollars, mintmarked P, as used for the proof issues of the series. The 1996 Olympics, held in Atlanta, marked the Centennial of the modern Olympic Games. During the two year commemorative program, the standard reverse silver dollar design was combined with eight different obverse designs, and these pieces were coined in proof at Philadelphia, and Mint State at Denver.(Registry values: N1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# E3LP, PCGS# 9716, GSID# 10499)
