Gem 1878 7/8 TF Dollar, Popular VAM-38 Variety
1878 7/8TF $1 Strong MS65 PCGS. VAM-38. Five tail feathers are present beneath the primary seven tailfeathers. LIBERTY is widely (although rather weakly) die doubled. This intricately struck Gem displays booming cartwheel luster, and is untoned aside from an occasional blush of apricot color.
