1878 7/8TF $1 Weak MS65 PCGS. CAC. VAM-33, 7/8 Tailfeather 7/4 variety. Four underfeathers and doubled eagle's legs confirm the variety. Radiantly lustrous surfaces are essentially untoned, and a well executed strike emboldens the design features. A few minor grazes are not bothersome. PCGS has seen just five pieces finer.(Registry values: P5)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2TY3, PCGS# 7070, GSID# 7436)
