    1878 7TF Morgan, MS64 Deep Mirror Prooflike
    Reverse of 1878 Variety

1878 7TF $1 Reverse of 1878, VAM-81, MS64 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. VAM-81 was struck from a heavily polished die pair that shows mirrorlike reflectivity in the cavity of Liberty's ear, an area that is normally frosted. The nose also shows excessive die polishing. This near-Gem example is sharply struck and brilliant with stark white-on-black contrast. Only a few faint grazes prevent a finer grade. Finer Deep Mirror Prooflike coins are scarce for any 7TF, Reverse of 1878 variety.
