Description

1878 7TF $1 Reverse of 1879 MS65 NGC. Brilliant, silver-white surfaces show only a few minor bagmarks, while the strike is sharp front-to-back, top-to bottom. Only inconsequential, shallow luster grazes on Liberty's cheek argue against an even finer grade, which is often sought but seldom granted at the Gem level. NGC reports just 11 numerically finer certifications (5/18).
