1878 7TF Morgan Dollar, MS65
Reverse of 1879, Vibrant Luster
1878 7TF $1 Reverse of 1879 MS65 NGC. VAM-231. An
essentially untoned reverse cedes to electric-blue, lavender, and
orange-gold patina on the obverse. Lustrous surfaces are suitably
struck and well preserved. PCGS has seen 53 numerically finer
Reverse of 1879 examples (8/24), but few in the current grade boast
as much eye appeal.Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 6/2016), lot 4930.(Registry values: P5, N1793)
