Description
1878 Morgan Dollar, MS66+
First-Year, 8 Tail Feathers Variety
1878 8TF $1 Diagonal In 8, VAM-17, MS66+ NGC. According to

mintage of 749,500 business-strike Morgan dollars with the 8 Tail
Feathers reverse in 1878, before switching over to the 7 Tail

This Plus-graded Premium Gem exhibits sharply detailed design
elements and impeccably preserved lustrous surfaces, with
outstanding eye appeal. Census: 54 in 66 (5 in 66+, 6 in
66?), 1 finer (12/25).Ex: U.S. Coins Signature (Heritage, 12/2023), lot 3365.
