    Deep Mirror Prooflike Specimen

    1878 8TF $1 Lines in LIB, VAM-2, MS64+ Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. CAC. A Plus-graded Choice specimen from the first year of the Morgan design, this coin shows the 8 tailfeathers reverse used early in the year. The 8TF issue accounts for less than 10% of the Philadelphia mintage for the year. This Plus-graded Choice specimen offers sharply detailed, frosty design elements and deeply reflective prooflike fields. The brilliant surfaces are well-preserved and most attractive. Population: 40 in 64 (3 in 64+) Deep Mirror Prooflike, 4 finer. CAC: 5 in 64, 0 finer (1/19).
