    1878 8TF $1 Spiked Eye, VAM-3, MS65 Prooflike PCGS. Minor die markers near Liberty's eye attribute the variety. This sharply struck first-year Morgan dollar displays light peripheral peach patina. The fields and devices are snow-white. The preservation is outstanding, even for the rigid requirements of the designated grade. Housed in a first-generation "rattler" holder.
