1878-CC $1 MS65 PCGS. Delicate gold patina visits this highly lustrous and beautifully preserved Gem. The strike is precise, and the eye appeal is exceptional. Prior to the GSA auctions, the 1878-CC was the most prevalent Carson City dollar, but that distinction now belongs to the 1883-CC or 1884-CC.(Registry values: P4, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 253M, PCGS# 7080, GSID# 7446)
