Gorgeous 1878-CC Morgan, MS65 Prooflike
1878-CC $1 MS65 Prooflike PCGS. Highly lustrous and brilliant with untoned silver surfaces, this 1878-CC Morgan is fully prooflike and exhibits wonderful contrast. Many 1878-CC Morgan dollars are known with one side prooflike, the other frosty, but true prooflike examples with mirrored fields on both sides are seldom encountered. PCGS has only certified 12 finer prooflike pieces (6/10).(Registry values: P4, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 253M, PCGS# 7081, GSID# 7447)
