Frosty 1878-CC Dollar, MS66
1878-CC $1 MS66 NGC. This is a frosty silver-white Premium Gem with remarkably few abrasions, large or small, on either side. The strike is equally bold, with good detail on the hair over the ear and on the eagle's breast. Minor roller marks on Liberty's cheek do little to dampen the appeal. Few are certified finer; NGC has graded only nine in higher grades (12/09).(Registry values: P4, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 253M, PCGS# 7080, GSID# 7446)
