1878-CC $1 MS66 PCGS. A highly lustrous Premium Gem, with brilliant silver surfaces hidden beneath delicate rose and gold toning accented by peripheral iridescence. As the first year of issue for the design and the first Morgan dollar struck at the highly popular Carson City Mint, 1878-CC dollars disappear from the marketplace almost as soon as they appear. PCGS has only certified four finer pieces (4/09).(Registry values: P4, N2998)
