Description
Elusive Superb Gem 1878-S Dollar
Ex: Jack Lee 2
1878-S $1 MS67 PCGS. Ex: Jack Lee 2. The tremendous,
shimmering mint frost and the impeccable surface preservation of
this Superb Gem makes it a remarkable example from the very first
year of the Morgan dollar series. An interesting, tiny,
teardrop-shaped die lump rests near the center of Liberty's cheek.
Well struck, essentially brilliant, and just a great coin.
