Nice 1879-CC Capped Die Dollar, AU58
1879-CC $1 Capped Die AU58 NGC. VAM-3. A Top 100 Variety. The silver-gray surfaces of this near-Mint specimen retain a good amount of luster, and exhibit well defined design features, save for incompleteness in the hair over Liberty's ear. The few marks consistent with light circulation are not bothersome. A nice piece for the Morgan dollar specialist.(Registry values: P6, N991)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 7088, GSID# 7451)
