Prooflike 1879-CC Dollar, MS61
Scarcer Capped Die Variant
1879-CC $1 Capped Die MS61 NGC. VAM-3. A Top 100 Variety.
Although unacknowledged by NGC, this is piece nearly Prooflike. It
is minimally toned with radiant, mirror-like fields, which are
particularly pleasing on the obverse. A number of light marks do
not detract from the overall great appeal of this scarce variety.
