Description

Frosty Mint State 1879-CC Dollar

1879-CC $1 Capped Die MS61 NGC. VAM-3. A Top 100 Variety. Softly frosted silver surfaces appear on this coin, which is strictly Mint State and shows few abrasions for the grade. The luster is fairly diffuse, however. Just a hint of gold appears near the obverse rim. Much eye appeal remains on this example of an ever-popular issue.(Registry values: P6, N1793)
