1879-CC $1 Capped Die MS62 PCGS. VAM-3. A Top 100 Variety. A classic example of the Capped Die VAM, with numerous minute die chips near the mintmark. The cream-gray fields and devices are bounded by honey-gold and ice-blue toning. The centers are slightly soft, but the remainder of the piece is sharply defined.(Registry values: P6, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 7088, Greysheet# 7451)
