Scarce Select 1879-CC Capped Die Dollar

1879-CC $1 Capped Die MS63 PCGS. VAM-3. Top 100 Variety. The obverse is untoned with a subdued, satiny brilliance, while milky gray patina and antique-golden accents dominate the reverse. Not fully struck above the ear, but generally crisp. The obverse has a few wispy grazes that serve to limit the grade. The key to the 1878 to 1885 Carson City issues.
