Variety. A multitude of small lumps around the mintmark resulting
from corrosion confirms the scarce "Capped Die" variety. Attractive
light silver-gray toning over nice surfaces that have fewer contact
marks than usually encountered for the grade. Radiant frosty luster
enlivens the appeal of this terrific coin. A semikey Carson City
branch mint issue that is highly sought-after by collectors. NGC
